Call for Applications:
Partnership & Sponsorship Manager (m/f/d) for the Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin

Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin is looking for a
Partnership and Sponsorship Manager!

The Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin (UFFB) is an independent, annual film festival dedicated to contemporary Ukrainian cinema. It provides a platform for cultural exchange and visibility for Ukrainian filmmakers, as well as encouraging social dialogue, particularly in the current political climate. Taking place in Berlin in the autumn, the festival is continuously growing in scope, audience and programme.

The festival is organised by a team of dedicated individuals. The partnerships and sponsorship division is already well-established. Due to the festival's growth, we are now seeking to provide additional support to the team.

Your role

We are looking for someone to support us in the area of commercial partnerships and sponsorship. The scope of responsibilities is deliberately open-ended. We welcome both experienced specialists and motivated students or young professionals looking to gain initial experience. Accordingly, different forms of collaboration are possible.

Your tasks:

  • Actively acquiring commercial partners and sponsors (companies, brands and service providers).

  • Approaching potential partners via LinkedIn, social media, email and personal contacts.

  • Developing ideas for cooperation, e.g.

  • Donations in kind (products and services);

  • Sponsorship;

  • Joint social media campaigns;

  • Cooperation with influencers on relevant themes;

  • Independent research. Who could be a good fit for UFFB and why?

  • Independent contact and follow-ups

Important: Public funding, foundations and grants are already covered – your focus is exclusively on commercial partnerships.

What is particularly important to us:

  • You work closely with the existing festival and partnerships team in a collaborative and supportive environment.

  • You actively approach people and don't wait for specific instructions.

  • You have a clear idea of who could be a sponsor or partner.

  • You work in a structured, independent and reliable manner.

  • You are culturally aware.

An interest in film or Ukraine would be advantageous.

General conditions

  • Period: mid-March to the end of October (festival period).

  • Scope of work: flexible and divisible as required.

  • Payment: a fee will be paid after the festival (end of October).

Students: An internship/work reference or certificate can be issued.

Application

Please send a short application (a CV and a short cover letter) to:
